About Dr. Cohen

I grew up in New Haven, Connecticut the oldest of four kids, and learned from an early age just how divided my community and our society really was. Early on, I became determined to play a part in addressing the causes of that division. Through my first job working with horses, I witnessed the transformative power of holding space––how horses could support people who had experienced trauma to find calmness, heal, and step into more confident versions of themselves. Through community work around the world, I learned how critical it is to truly meet people where they are at, and position myself as a steward of change. I believe that anyone, in any condition, with any background, can find healing, and lay down the foundation for growth.
