A gentle check-in as the New Year approaches ✨
So… where do you land when it comes to New Year’s resolutions?
Are you someone who looks forward to this time of year and enjoys setting intentions and making plans?
Are you somewhere in the middle — you do them, but casually?
Or do resolutions bring up dread, overwhelm, or a sense of defeat? Maybe they’re just not your thing at all.
I have mixed feelings myself. December 31st can be meaningful and fun, and I’ve been lucky to have had some truly special New Year’s experiences. And at the same time, as a Jewish person, this isn’t my only “New Year.” We have Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, and Tu B’Shvat, the New Year for the trees — just to name a couple. I also tend to treat my birthday as a kind of personal New Year.
Over time, as I’ve claimed meaning in these different moments, January 1st has simply become one of many opportunities throughout the year to pause, reflect, and gently reorient. Rather than following the cultural pressure of “new year, new you,” I try to make these moments my own.
So wherever you land with New Year’s energy — whether you’re leaning in, opting out, or somewhere in between — I want to share a few ways we might work together in the coming year.
ADHD & Autism Evaluations
Virtual | Adults
My January consultation and evaluation spots for ADHD and Autism are beginning to fill. If you’ve been considering testing, now is a great time to schedule a free consultation and hold your spot at the current rate before prices increase in February 2026.
So many people tell me they’ve carried questions about themselves for years — wondering why certain things feel harder, or why past supports never quite fit. My goal is to offer a thoughtful, affirming evaluation process that helps you better understand your brain and lived experience, without pathologizing who you are.
Whether you’re deep in New Year’s reflection or not thinking about resolutions at all, if you’ve been curious about neurodivergence, this can be a gentle next step.
Psychotherapy
Virtual | Adults & Teens
I currently have two openings for psychotherapy and would love to connect to see if we’re a good fit. Recently, I’ve had the honor of supporting people around:
Trauma healing
Neurodivergence
Identity development
Relationships and communication
Ethical non-monogamy
Parenting
Grounding into self and community during times of collective stress
Depression and anxiety
If you’re seeking support in any of these areas (or something related), you’re welcome to schedule a free consultation.

Our next offering through the Sanctuary is the Transformative Grief Group.
This peer support group is for people in the horse world who are divesting from traditional horsemanship practices in order to center the wellbeing of horses. Many people on this path experience grief, confusion, or loss connected to how they once related to horses. This group offers a space to be witnessed and supported as you move toward relationships rooted in consent, freedom, and partnership.
